A Route to Mauban Quezon
You can see from the map if you came from Manila City proper that you need to pass Laguna and Batangas before you reach Quezon Province. There are major route going to Mauban. The first is through Sta. Cruz Laguna and 2nd through San Pablo City. The way to Mauban using San Pablo is too long because it travel besides the Mt Banahaw and of course the traffics from each town you will just pass by.
Fortunately the road from Lucena to Mauban are now concrete after 35 years of waiting. My recommendation is to use the Sta Cruz trip to Mauban because it less traffic, less pollution and its more colder since the place are still have many trees specially when your reach Pagsangjan, Cavinti, Lousina, Lucban and Sampaloc.
